Others just do not understand our fascination with this particular niche fetish. The mechanism which causes arousal in one totally baffles another. But many times it even baffles ourselves!

This question has been pondered, discussed and ruminated over for quite some time. I have read endless threads in the Forum covering the topic: "Why growing breasts?" Is it some sort of deviant or abnormal pleasure? My answer to this would have to be a resounding, "No." The avenue through which we become aroused, through which we express our desires, may be a bit off the wall but the desire itself is utterly normal, if not primal in its origin. After some reflection, I would like to put forth my views on this topic in hopes that this theory will definitively answer our questions and others. The BE stories generally emphasize the growth of a subject and the pictorial element of our mania, with a few exceptions, exhibit women already expanded or grown. Therefore this theory focuses on the content of the stories rather than pictures or morphs.

In the realm of the story key themes continuously present themselves: the nature of the girl before and after her expansion, the nature of the man in the story and the description of the growth.

In general, the story begins with a woman of limited endowments and demure composure. The tale usually depicts a "typical gal", a housewife, a college student, or a scientist, wishing she had a "bit more up top." It is rare to find a story starring a buxom woman of means or a successful sex-crazed stripper with implants. The girl feels incomplete because of her modest size. Usually the story will parallel this sense of lack by giving the young woman some task she must accomplish.

Eventually, the story introduces the man. He parallels the girl being just a "regular guy." Like the woman, he usually is not a jet setting millionaire, a bold adventurer or a super hero. Sometimes this character is a scientist or a husband or in a role similar to the girl but different in gender. The man will also express an affinity for (or the desire to "possess") large breasts. This character gives the target audience a universally appealing character, someone with whom to identify.

Next, the story establishes the relationship of the two characters, most often an amicable one. The man then expresses some sort of desire for the woman and begins to pursue her. Sometimes the opposite occurs and the woman expresses a desire for the man. Either course of action places the man in control or at least in an advantageous situation.

After the two characters meet the story reveals the method of the young lady's growth. Then she begins to grow. It can happen quickly or in stages but it is always a transformational event. Not only does her physical stature alter her libido changes as well. The changes she undergoes closely parallel puberty. A sexual awakening occurs. Desires for intercourse come to the fore. All of this is made frightfully apparent by the extreme growth of her breasts, the most obvious of the female genitalia. The young lady bursts out of her clothes and must find pleasure and satisfaction.

Until this point we have not seen the woman taking pleasure in her body or behaving in a sexual manner but now she has become a woman and sexually active, perhaps hyperactive. She will find a dildo or the man of the story and have an extreme session of sexual intercourse in which she experiences feelings and sensations previously unknown to her.

The man in the story is not only the source of her sexual pleasure but usually the catalyst by which the young lady grows her huge breasts and develops into womanhood. He may slip her a pill or cast a spell or use some sort of device upon her. The man, as the engine of change, has completed the young lady. He has made her satisfied with her body and satisfied sexually. The woman gives the man what he has always wanted, sex with an unbelievably large breasted woman, and satisfied him. The two come together, after the transformation, completing each other through sexual union; there is no more lack.

In a totally Freudian examination we would also find that the woman's breasts are a metaphor for the man's penis. The penis being the creative force (effecting the elimination of lack) the breast become the woman's creative force and the descriptions of BE and an erection are extremely similar: the clothing noticeably bulges, there is a rush of blood (juices, humors, whatever), there is a throbbing, a swelling, and extending (of nipples) they become warm and very sensitive arousing the sexual desire when touched. In some rare stories we will find the nipple described in phallic manners (bursting forth upon climax). Rarer yet, in some stories the woman's clitoris will also grow or she will sprout her own penis!

When we view these morphs we have this constant before-and-after story, no matter how basic, running through our heads. When viewing these pictures they do not exist alone in a vacuum. I believe this is what baffles most people; they don't have access to the underlying story. Understanding this may help others understand the fetish.

Unfortunately, these will only ever be masturbatory fantasies. Unlike the foot fetishist or the hair fetishist one is extremely unlikely to experience true BE in one's life (with the exception of pregnancy). But what's wrong with having an unfulfilled fantasy? Masturbation is perfectly normal and healthy so long as one does not start to prefer masturbation to sex. Fantasize all you want! After all, man's reach should exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for?
