"Because you aren't using contractions, dummy! Just saying 'I can't do that.'"
"I cannot do that. What is the problem?"
"What? You mean you don't know? Can you even think of contractions?"
"No. Should I be able to?"
"Well, of course! You always have before. Unless this magical change did that to your mind," Erico muses, then goes on. "Well, no matter! Just change your t-shirt into something a djinni would wear. Like Jeannie's clothes."
"I guess. But, I do not know how to create things. Only make them disappear and reappear."
"Oh, Jim! I mean, Jimi. Just think of the t-shirt disappearing and nice red and pink harem clothes appearing in its place. Oh! And put your hair in braids and ponytail, just like Jeannie's. Make you look the part better that way."
"Hmmm, maybe it will work that way," Jimi agrees, then imagines Jeannie's pink and red harem clothes for her upper torso only. Pop! Jimi is dressed and styled almost like Jeannie, making her smile. She needs to see herself in a mirror, and does not think about anything but needing a big mirror in front of her. As Erico still sits right there, she becomes the mirror with a soft Pop!
"Oh, this is nice! That you for suggesting this, Erico," Jimi coos. When she gets no repsonse, she looks around for her friend. "Erico? Where are you?"
Jimi wants to show herself off to Erico, so she starts popping around the house lookign for her. She returns to her seated spot before the mirror, wondering what could have happened to her. As she gazes into space, the mirror gazes back, and it suddenly clicks. Another Pop! and a pissed Erico sits where she used to, the mirror gone to nothingness.
"Sorry about that, Erico. I did not mean to do that. I forgot myself."
"You can be pretty dangerous when you forget yourself, Jimi! I think we better work on that. Maybe you will react to a wish," she suggests, then makes one. "I wish you were more careful with your magic powers."
Pop! "Granted. I guess it worked. Cool! I wonder if you can make other wishes of me that way?"
"I'm sure I can," she replies with a wicked grin. "I wish you were lived in a lamp and that you were my djinni for life!"
No pop. Nothing happens. Other than Jimi looking sternly at her human friend.
"That was not a very nice thing to wish for," she tells her, then, Pop!
